UPDATE! Joran van der Sloot Confessed to Murder »

joran-vds1
Officially, there is an ongoing manhunt for 22-year-old Dutchman, Joran van der Sloot, who is sought for the murder of a 21-year-old girl in Peru. Van der Sloot was previously arrested twice for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, who was in Aruba for a class trip. Today, authorities confirmed van der Sloot is now the prime suspect for Sunday’s murder of a Peruvian woman, Stephany Flores, who was found dead in a Lima hotel.

The following day, the suspect crossed the border by automobile into Chile. Joran was in Peru for a poker tournament, and he appears in a hotel surveillance tape with the victim. The video shows the two together at a Lima casino early Sunday and were later seen entering the hotel by an employee.

The father of the victim, Ricardo Flores, said his daughter was dropping off her girlfriends at 2:35 a.m. then returned to the casino to meet van der Sloot. According to police chief Gen. Cesar Guardia, van der Sloot and the victim were seen entering a hotel room at approximately 5 a.m. About four hours later, the Dutchman left the hotel room alone. Guardia confirms, “We have an interview with a worker at the hotel who says she saw this foreigner with the victim enter his room.”

The victim, Stephany Flores, was found face down on the floor of the hotel room with abrasions on her face and body indicating trauma, and she was fully clothed. Signs of asphyxiation are pending with autopsy results for the actual cause of death. Sunday’s murder of Flores exactly marks the five year anniversary of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance for which van der Sloot remains the leading suspect.

According to the Dutch government, Interpol has issued an international arrest warrant for van der Sloot in the Peru killing. The spokeswoman for the Aruba prosecutor’s office, Ann Angela, said, “What’s happening now is incredible. At this moment we don’t have anything to do with it, but we are following the case with great interest and if Peruvian authorities would need us, we are here.”

UPDATE!! Joran van der Sloot was arrested by police while taking a cab ride and taken into custody in downtown Santiago, Chile. The suspect has since been transferred to the Peruvian government.

UPDATE!! Monday, under questioning from Peruvian authorities, the Dutchman confessed to killing the 21-year-old, Stephany Flores, last Sunday on May 30. According to Peruvian media releases, van der Sloot became enraged after discovering Flores had used his laptop to search information of his past without his permission.

The sick bastard admitted to grabbing Flores by the neck and hitting her because she had viewed photos and videos about the Aruba case on his computer while he went to get coffee. Joran’s confession came on his thrid full day in Pervian custody, and the day before he was set to participate in reconstructing the events at the hotel leading to Flores’ slaying. Flores was beaten to death and had a broken neck.

In a statement from Natalee Holloway’s father, “He confessed to this one… I would like for him to tell everyone what happened. Hopefully this is his last victim.”

Al Gore and Wife, Tipper, Announce Split »

thegores4
Say it isn’t so! Who would’ve thought after the Clinton/Gore era, Bill and Hilary Clinton would reconcile infidelity yet Al and Tipper Gore would split after 40 years of marriage. The Gores confirmed their split via and email to Politico.

The future ex-couple made a joint statement, “We are announcing today that after a great deal of thought and discussion, we have decided to separate.” After a 40 year union, wouldn’t you just go your separate ways and not even bother putting your energy into a divorce? Seriously, think of how long it would take to reach an agreement with 40 years of crap together. They’ll be dead before a settlement is made.

And where do you go after being with someone for 40 years? It is possible either Mr. or Mrs. has kindled another flame. Why else would you separate at their age after that long of a marriage? Any thoughts?

AZ Happy to Shut it Down for LA »

welcomeaz
Dear Los Angeles,

Buy flashlights!

Best Regards,

Arizona

When Arizona Governor, Janet Brewer, signed the new immigration bill mandating authorities to determine whether a person is in the United States legally, there was an eruption of international controversy. While protesters are claiming the bill promotes racial profiling, supporters reason the bill’s assistance to decrease local crime rates.

The new immigration bill is expected to activate in July. As a way of protesting, the city of Los Angeles has threatened to “boycott” Arizona, which in turn could cost Arizona millions. However, L.A. should consider the repercussions of a “boycott” before they actually pull the plug. Because Arizona is happy to LITERALLY pull the plug on L.A.

The Arizona Corporation Commission oversees the state’s water and electric utilities, and has offered to accommodate LA, and cut off electricity to 25% of the city. Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce wrote a letter to Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaradigosa saying, “If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives power from Arizona-based generation,” Pierce continued, “I am confident that Arizona’s utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands.” Pierce’s letter was in response to the L.A. city council’s decision, on May 12, to boycott the state of Arizona.

Pierce’s spokesperson told CNNMoney.com, “It’s not a threat. It’s just pointing out the ramification of what L.A.’s threat would be on the boycott. If they carry out their threat to boycott Arizona, that includes 25% of their power.”

Politicians, mostly lefties, are at odds with the recent immigration commotion and saying all sort of nonsense like Senator Schumer, “You cannot pass an immigration bill unless you have bipartisan support,” the New York Democrat continued, “Right now we are unable to have a single Republican to come with us to the table to negotiate a bipartisan bill.” Oh! Is that a violin I hear playing? But it’s okay for a federal health care bill to pass without a single conservative vote? Bad news Senator, Arizona is a Red State, not a swing state. And more bad news; Arizona’s immigration bill has nearly three times the approval rating compared to President Obama’s ‘Immigration Reform.’ Cry me the Rio Grande, build a wall, and try to get over it. Oh! And don’t forget your passport!

Obama’s Health Reform Needs Urgent Care »

sorryyet
Sunday, President Barack Obummer Obama, signed an approximated $2.5 trillion healthcare program. During the hypocritical “democratic” assembly, the proposed Health Care Reform passed 219-212 votes. The said Health Care System will provide health coverage to about 32 million Americans without insurance. You do the math. Divide 940 million or 2.5 trillion (whatever the reported astronomical cost) by 32 million. Don’t worry about the math because I did the calculation and it works out to approximately $29 thousand to $78 thousand per uninsured American. Necessary? IDFTS (look it up at UrbanDictionary.com).

Republicans, logically and unanimously opposed the bill in addition to 34 knowledgeable Democrats. And this is the land by the people, for the people? After the December election is Massachusetts, it appeared Obamacare was destined to collapse. But that Nancy Pelosi, she’s got moves and she tweaked the WHOLE system so those 219 people could have their votes counted regardless of what the other 300 million Americans want. But as long as less than 15% of Americans have health care the other 85% has to pay for, it doesn’t matter because Obama finally signed something. Sense my sarcasm. Obama’s really earning that Peace Prize!

So, now there are 14 states that filed suit almost immediately after President Obummer Obama signed the bill, and as if Obamacare wasn’t a fiasco to begin with, now it is in shambles. These 14 states are filing suit against H.R. 4872 the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010, calling it “unconstitutional.” Florida Attorney General, Bill McCollum, said, “It forces people to do something… in the sense of buying a healthcare policy or paying a penalty, a tax of a fine… that simply the Constitution does not allow Congress to do.”

Shockingly, even Michael Moore isn’t on board with this cluster-f***, calling President Obama’s plan “phony”. According to Moore, this Health Care Reform “has EVERYTHING to do with lining the pockets of the health insurance industry,” he continued, “What company wouldn’t love the government forcing the public to buy that company’s product?! Imagine a law that made it illegal not to own an iPhone?” True enough.

These examples are precisely the reason 14 states so quickly reacted to the signing of H.R. 4827. Virginia, among the 14 states filing suits, has filed a separate suit against Obamacare because the state has passed a bill preventing federal mandates from requiring individuals in the state to purchase health insurance. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli defends the suit saying, “There has never been a point in our history where the federal government has been given the authority to require citizens to buy goods or services.”

As former President Abraham Lincoln said, “You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.” That is exactly what will happen to the insured 85% of Americans who end up paying for the uninsured 15%. For a nation that can offer the most innovative and reliable health care in the world, it appears Obamacare can accept the regression in medical innovation we should be so proud to offer.

Sarah Palin Connects with Canadian Health Care »

spalinSarah Palin has established her position as a celebrity more so than a politician ever since the culmination of the Presidential campaign in 2008. She is publicly criticized for her every move, yet she is still able to maintain a massive crowd of supporters including nearly 1.5 million fans on Facebook.

Yet this past Saturday, Palin gave a speech in Calgary where she revealed a piece of her childhood to the Canadian natives. Until Palin was five years-old, she lived in an Alaskan town, Skagway, near the border of the Canadian city, Whitehorse. Palin said, “Believe it or not, we used to hustle on over the border for health care that we would receive in Whitehorse… isn’t that kind of ironic now. Zooming over the border, getting health care from Canada.”

That has to be one of the dumbest stories she has ever told in her entire life. Palin is utterly opposed to anything having to do with President Barack Obama’s health care bill, yet she received national health care from Canada as a child. Did she think if she told a group of Canadians, she could relate to them in a special way, and Americans would never find out?

Here’s the thing… that all happened in the 1960’s when she was in the care of her parents at a very young age. It would be a totally different story if she said, “My grandson had ’some little kid accident thing’ and we rushed him on a train over to Whitehorse for medical treatment.” The difference is how she was raised and how she lives her life now. Surely at the ripe age of 5 she didn’t have much say in where she received health care. Unless she was a very intuitive 5-year-old who strictly opposed going to Whitehorse because she didn’t believe in public health care (highly doubtful).

Regardless of any reason, call it opportunistic or hypocritical, when Sarah Palin makes a statement like that, she is just setting herself up to be publicly scorned. The reason is simple, she has previously suggested that Canada discontinue its public health care program and said President Obama’s instantaneous demand for American health care is “irresponsible.” The wheels fall off too often for Palin when she speaks publicly. As they do for many people, which only makes her human. But that’s a perfectly good reason for her to not be in office, and same with our President. The “I’m just like every other average American” doesn’t mean anything. I don’t want someone like me in office, then every Joe Schmoe would run for office if that’s the situation. It’s a waste of time, which is a luxury America does not have at this point.

Palin Recycles Visor, Going Green »

palin-beach
This week Sarah Palin was photographed on the beach in Hawaii wearing a McCain campaign visor, however she blacked out McCain’s name with a Sharpie. So maybe she is recycling a perfectly good visor, that she feels was “so last year.” Or… intentionally drawing attention to herself because, for liberal media, this qualifies as news.

That was not the case when Ms. Palin responded to the accusations her hat wearing behavior was a “frontal attack on Sen. John McCain.” Palin has explained it was a simple attempt to “be incognito” while on holiday in Hawaii. She made a statement, ” I am sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way… I adore John McCain, support him 100% and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito.”

Where is the logic? Scribbling out your party’s campaign name on a visor is an effective solution to disguise yourself? This may be news to you Ms. Palin, but you couldn’t disguise yourself in a burqa. The message these photos signify is either pure ignorance, or she’s broke, in which the former seems more accurate. Her cognitive process while packing went something like this, “I need something to go incognito on the beach. I got it! I’ll just pack my McCain 08 visor.” Your new book was a bestseller from pre-orders alone, and you’re saying you couldn’t buy a new hat for vacation, better yet, pay someone to go buy a hat for you? I’m not buying what she’s selling. Ms. Palin it would be in your best interest to refrain from making further illogical decisions such as this, from here on out. Incognito or not, liberal media is all over you for anything and everything. Shockingly, this weak attempt to “be incognito” failed. What’s your address? I’ll send you a new hat as an early Christmas present.

Mrs. Woods’ Holiday Surprise Arrived Early and Tiger’s Still in the Rough »

twoods
Although Tiger Woods may be back in the fairway from the law, his personal life is still in the rough. He received a careless driving citation and four points on his driving record for his single car crash into a fire hydrant and tree. The Florida Highway Patrol has completed their investigation and Tiger is home free. Unfortunately for Tiger, that is not where trouble ends.

The same day his driving citation was issued, Mr. Woods released a statement regarding the recent events regretting his “transgressions”… err adulterous behaviors which have sparked a media whirlwind. John Daly is stoked because he may have just found himself a new Hooters wing man. Nike and Gatorade have both stated they are too heavily invested in Woods to cut his endorsements, and they are absolutely okay with Woods using their endorsements to pay some home wreckers off to keep their promiscuous mouths shut.

Even though his estimated worth is about a billion dollars, his current situation is reasonably undesirable. But who says money can’t buy love? For Tiger Woods anything has its price. He has reportedly offered his wife a seven digit Christmas present to withstand the union as well as renegotiated their prenuptial agreement. Americans and particularly sports fans are very forgiving to personal short comings and unless the big “D” is in Tiger’s near future the media will soon disperse. Especially when he attains his next victory on the Tour.

It is extremely disappointing for Tiger to be chalked up aside Kobe and the likes. However, with this notch on his belt, Tiger is now eligible to follow a career in politics if desired to do so. So if the intentions of his transgressions were political resume building, this media blitz has been a remarkable success.

Happy Thanksgiving, Sarah Palin »

…Because she loves meat so much!
palinmoose23
In Palin’s newly released memoir, she has confessed her love for consuming meat. Her philosophy is that, “If God had not intended for us to eat animals, how come He made them out of meat?” This is a real excerpt from her book; she really wrote this. The intertextuality with Jessica Simpson and “Chicken of the Sea” is uncanny. At least Simpson did not pursue a career in politics. Ms. Palin then continues to say, ” there’s plenty of room for all Alaska’s animals– right next to the mashed potatoes.”

It is easy to laugh at the lack of intelligence in her statement, but the context in which she uses it is quite funny. Ms. Palin’s statement is poking fun at hosting a vegan for dinner at her home. She says, “I could whip them up a salad, then explain my philosophy on being a carnivore.” Most people can appreciate the humor, however she surely has angered a few PETA activists who “would rather go naked.” She continues, “I love meat… I eat pork chops, thick bacon burgers… But I especially love moose and caribou.” At least she didn’t say she likes to hunt and eat polar bear. She might, but she didn’t say it.

This Thanksgiving, Palin and her family will gather around a feast, celebrating gratitude, and she will be thankful that God made turkeys our of meat… so that we can eat them. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Obama Pays Respect Upon Arrival of War Dead »

18-wardead1After the unfortunate events Monday, where 18 Americans were killed in Afghanistan, President Obama departed D.C by Marine One to Dover Air Force Base in the late hours Wednesday night to meet the bodies. Those 18 Americans add to the death toll as the most fatal month in Afghanistan for Americans. In the current events leading up to this Dover visit, Obama has received much criticism for his actions on proceeding in Afghanistan.

In mixed responses, some praise the President’s efforts for paying respect to the American heroes upon their arrival to their homeland, and appreciate the humanity of the Commander in Chief. Sadly, others believe it is just another publicity stunt as if Obama is still campaigning to the Americans and is beating around the Bush (no pun intended) in his decision for Afghanistan. Regardless of Obama’s agenda, those fallen sons and daughters deserve the utmost respect and honor for their service to our nation.

The GOP is really laying the pressure on Obama because they believe the troops overseas are in danger if they do not get more help. The additional 18 Americans killed Monday only reinforce their beliefs. Senator John McCain (AZ) is one who has strongly criticized Obama for taking too much time in his decision making, as he believes if decisions are made more swiftly, the President has an opportunity to prevent similar events.

Even the lefts are supporting the troop surge, as Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) stated on the deployment of more troops, ” In my mind, you should pay for the cost whatever way.” This is a valid statement from chairman of the House Appropriations Defense subcommittee, in control of funding operations in Afghanistan. Murtha says, “You can take it out of other programs or you can raise taxes.”

From the White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, who accompanied Obama to Dover Air Force Base, stated the President’s decision proceeding in Afghanistan is near its end. But has it already been to long?

Cheney Says Obama ‘Seems Afraid’ Proceeding in Afghanistan »

In the opinion of former Vice President Dick Cheney, President Obama appears “afraid to make a decision” on the proceedings in Afghanistan. Thank you Captain Obvious!

dick3

During a conservative gathering, President Barack Obama’s harshest critic, Cheney, is never hesitant to spare his two cents when it comes to the President’s actions. He declared, “The White House must stop dithering while America’s armed force are in danger.” Yes, it would seem impulsive for Obama to pull the trigger without much consideration (i.e. he doesn’t want to shoot his friend in the face). However, with the recommendations of General Stanley McChrystal, commander of troops in Afghanistan, this certainly is a time sensitive matter.

Obama does have an obligation to generate a solution or come to consensus for his commander. Cheney said, “Having announced his Afghanistan strategy last March, President Obama now seems afraid to make a decision, and unable to provide his commander on the ground with the troops he needs to complete his mission.” Surely, General McChrystal offered a lengthy explanation for his recommendation to deploy more troops, therefore Cheney’s statements are redundant. Cheney, have you been in a cave for the last two weeks?

Certainly, the President is playing a bit of a waiting game, however Obama’s decision truly will reflect whether he can “make good on his promise” as Cheney said. The critical element in this situation is prioritizing the support of the men and women overseas. If they need more support as General McChrystal recommends, it would be in the President’s best interest to act swiftly and responsibly.
