Few stories in recent memory have gotten me this upset. If this turns out to be true, which I imagine it is in some form, then there needs to be worldwide outrage and the people convicted of doing these acts brought to justice. Rarely if ever will you read about a bigger abuse of power. It is sickening.

Even in these dismal political times, every now and then it is perfectly OK to laugh out loud, especially when something is actually funny. I love the new run of NBA commercials where they mash together two players faces in the middle. The combo-face then delivers inspirational speeches where the 2 sides of the heads seem to work together, but remain in their own voice. So it was due to happen that someone would smash together Clinton and Obama’s mugs for a parody of these interesting commercials.

I am just amazed that it was SNL that beat everyone to the punch. (more…)

Since it is almost election time how many of you are literally being bombarded with emails from your friends, family, colleagues, friends of friends, friends of colleagues, and people you have not spoken to in decades, with endless political jokes, opinions, pictures, links to stories and just about any other excuse to contact you with their political views. It seems to never end!

The other day I thought my INBOX was going to actually scream at me demanding a new spam level be added to just filter the politically themed emails I have been receiving in MASS. But what makes me even more nuts is how hypocritical everyone is. (more…)

Whether I agree or not, I love it when people go completely off the deep end, get all red in the face, and use a ton of big words that speak far above the heads of the common American. Let’s be honest, no one is listening any more to Bush …. and no one is listening to Olbermann, or any of the talking heads to be honest. Watch Olbermann go completely postal about Bush and the war on May 15th.

From CNN - A military judge approved charges against five accused September 11 plotters, including the alleged mastermind, but rejected charges against a man suspected of planning to be the “20th hijacker.”

WHAT HAS TAKEN SO LONG? 2974 dead people would be screaming the same thing…if they were alive.

The slower then slow legal process in this case is beyond maddening. This is not some small town local legal department doing the research! It is EVERY agency of the United States government (and the rest of the planet) doing the fact finding and proving evidence to convict these murderers. (more…)

In a stunning victory John McCain destroyed his competition in North Carolina and Indiana Tuesday night (May 6, 2008) taking 74 and 78% respectively of the vote in each of the states. It was a classic landslide victory, but one that was unsure right up until 100% of the votes had been officially reported.

Realizing the urgency of staying ahead of the other candidates McCain headed to New York Wednesday afternoon for fundraising and television appearances, including Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” The Daily Show stop should be interesting and I can’t wait to see him trade jabs with Stephen Colbert.

The wins gave McCain 78 more delegates. He now stands 1084 delegates ahead of the next closest Republican candidate Mike Huckabee and 1103 delegates ahead of Mitt Romney. (more…)
