Because We Are Americans »

liberty2.jpgBecause we are Americans we perceive the world around us in a warped way. Our view of life, which is both unique and distorted, has made us the envy of many people around the world, while at the same time making us hated.

Why make the effort to understand foreign cultures when we are obsessed with the private worlds of entertainment stars and “winner take all” lives? Why waste time studying history when yesterday’s winning lottery numbers are more important? Behind The Music, Fear Factor, and WWE Raw regularly score higher ratings then the local evening news. National news broadcasts are so dismal that they are almost impossible to sit through. “If it bleeds, it leads”, is the new media mantra. Sadly, even after the 9/11 Ben Affleck stirs more interest for most Americans then Bin-Laden. Because we ARE Americans. (more…)

How Convenient…. »

clinton-obama-tradeing-jabs.jpgI hate to keep bringing this up, but it is unavoidable. Obama on pastor: If he hadn’t left, I would have. How convenient!

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS reported yesterday that Obama discussed his relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright on ABC’s “The View,” which was taped Thursday and aired Friday. He acknowledged that his former pastor’s controversial remarks were inappropriate and hurtful saying: “Had the reverend not retired and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying there at the church,” Obama said.

What a bunch of crap. Isn’t it amazing that Wright’s remarks are called “inappropriate” by Obama, but had he been white, they would be called “racist” and there would be literal riots with Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton leading the way. (more…)

Clinton’s Lies, Obama’s Negative Ties, McCain Could Die. »

liar.jpgIt looks like we have a real problem this year. Hillary is proving herself to be a whole lot like her untruthful husband Bill and a big fat liar. If she was close behind in the race for the Democrat nomination, she now has taken a whole step backward.

But then again Obama has been running a campaign primarily on one word “change”. There even is a drinking game based on it. I love it. But is one word enough to get elected? And as recently posted here, his associations with certain individuals has come under recent scrutiny and rightly so.

And then we have 70 something year old John McCain, who loves to counter a good inquiry with a quick you little jerk! (more…)

Illegal Immigration: I Feel Like I’m Taking Crazy Pills »

crazy.gifI read a GREAT post by Frank Borelli, Editor and Chief of Officer.com about Illegal Immigration, and I could not agree more. The bottom line of Borelli’s recent post is that there are a TON of illegal immigrants in our country. A ton!

On top of the obvious things like the jobs illegal immigrants take from American citizens, many billions of our tax dollars are being spent on their schooling, policing, health and medical care, etc etc etc etc. This money could be spent in far better places.

Every time I see a story like the video below or this one I want to scream at the top of my lungs that I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. BUILD A WALL NOW, ARM IT WITH REAL GUARDS, AND LET’S GET THIS UNDER CONTROL ALREADY! (more…)

“God Damn America”???? »

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

So there is absolutely no confusion at all let me start by saying I am not anti Obama or pro Obama. I actually like some of the things he says, but as you know at this point I have not made any final voting decisions yet.

But if the recent lunatic wild rantings of Obama’s Pastor Jeremiah Wright have shown us anything it is that no matter which side you are on - BOTH are just as bad as the other. I am forever amazed how both sides will find a way to justify even the most ridiculous crap, all to defend “their guy”. Finding anything positive with the verbal vomit that has come out of Wright’s mouth is sad to me and honestly makes me lose respect for those who support Obama. (more…)

Support The Troops »

I support the war efforts and the troops 100%, but also want to get out of the dirty desert as quickly as possible. I can not stand the people who now in hindsight say that we should not be in the war. What a bunch of crap. Everyone of us was for going to war after 9/11. Every single person. Yet now some want to criticize. Personally I am happy they found Saddam all dirty and hiding in a hole. I am happy that he was brought to trial and executed on December 30, 2006. Now we have to finish the job we started. Were there weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Who knows. Not you and not me. And please don’t try to make me believe that what “the report” did or did not prove. The report DID say:

The massive report does say, however, that Iraq worked hard to cheat on United Nations-imposed sanctions and retain the capability to resume production of weapons of mass destruction at some time in the future. “[Saddam] wanted to end sanctions while preserving the capability to reconstitute his weapons of mass destruction when sanctions were lifted,” a summary of the report says.
